A day in Seattle to explore whatever you want.  Our bus will leave the hotel in the morning and arrive in Seattle approximately 2 hours later (rest stops are planned).  Participant’s will have their choice of being dropped off at any of 3 major stops and some in between; Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass museum, Monorail to downtown, Museum of Pop-Culture), Seattle piers (The Seattle Wheel, Aquarium, Boat tours of Elliot Bay), and or the Seattle Museum of Flight at Boeing Field.  The bus will continue to make a loop to all these locations through the day for your convenience.

(Bus will leave at 7:45AM - BE ON TIME)

8am-4pm

Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Home of Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 10 and the center of the Navy’s Electronic Warfare aircraft.  I’m working on a brief about ASW and Patrol Aviation in the current world and ahead followed by tour opportunities on a P-8A and of course a P-3.  This tour should only last through lunch and there will be plenty of free time in the afternoon for independent exploring before the business meeting in the early evening.

Annual Blue Sharks Business Meeting 


7pm-11pm
 Open evening with no planned event Dinner on your own 




August 22 (Sat.)






8am-6pm
Registration Blue Sharks Hospitality Rooom

8am-5pm

Deception Pass to Freeland on Whidbey Island.  A bus tour with opportunities for scenic views of Deception Pass Bridge and the Puget Sound at the east end of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  A stop at the Dancing Fish Winery and depending on time, the Greenbank Farm for their famous Loganberry wine.  The tour will return to the hotel in time for everyone to get a little rest before the evening’s reunion banquet.

August 23 ( Sun)
Depending on interest, we are considering a trip to see the Seattle Mariners play the Chicago White Sox at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.  Again, depending on interest, we may charter the bus to get us all there or we’ll just pile into cars and head to the ballpark.
